Article 57 of the Constitution of India explicitly stipulates that a person who holds, or who has held, office as President shall be eligible for re-election to that office any number of times. Unlike the United States Constitution (22nd Amendment), the Indian Constitution sets no upper limit on the number of presidential terms.
