What is StatePYQ?

StatePYQ is a free platform of previous year question papers (PYQs) for UPSC, MPPSC, BPSC and other State PSC exams. Every question is mapped to its syllabus topic and comes with a bilingual (Hindi and English) model answer.

Are the questions and answers accurate?

The questions are taken from official past papers. The model answers are drafted with AI assistance, reviewed, and cross-checked against official answer keys for some exams. They may still contain errors — email statepyq@gmail.com with any correction.

How many years of papers are covered?

MPPSC Mains, MPPSC Prelims, MPPSC Forest and UPSC Prelims papers from 2013 onwards are live, along with BPSC Prelims papers from 2020 to 2025 (66th to 71st CCE). More state exams and years are being added.

Is StatePYQ free to use?

Yes. All previous year questions, model answers and the syllabus map are free with no login required.

How are questions organised?

By exam → paper → section → unit → topic, following each commission’s official syllabus, so you can revise one topic at a time across every year it was asked.

Do the Hindi and English versions match?

Every question has both a Hindi and an English version, filed under the same syllabus topic. If you find a mismatch between the two, email statepyq@gmail.com and it will be corrected.

What if the syllabus changes?

The topic map is a revision aid built from each commission’s syllabus, not an official document. Always check the commission’s latest notification for the current syllabus, and report a wrong topic mapping through the Contact page.
