- जिस कारखाने में 500 से अधिक श्रमिक हों, वहां डॉक्टर व नर्स युक्त एम्बुलेंस कक्ष (Ambulance Room) का अनिवार्य गठन।
- कैंटीन की सुविधा (धारा 46): जिस कारखाने में 250 से अधिक श्रमिक कार्यरत हों, वहां रियायती दरों पर पौष्टिक भोजन उपलब्ध कराने वाली स्वच्छ कैंटीन अनिवार्य।
- विश्राम गृह एवं भोजन कक्ष (धारा 47): 150 से अधिक श्रमिकों वाले कारखानों में पर्याप्त हवादार शेल्टर, विश्राम कक्ष तथा शुद्ध पेयजल युक्त लंच रूम की व्यवस्था।
- शिशु गृह (Crèche - धारा 48):
- जिस कारखाने में 30 से अधिक महिला श्रमिक नियोजित हों, वहां 6 वर्ष से कम आयु के बच्चों हेतु सुसज्जित, सुरक्षित व स्वच्छ शिशु गृह की व्यवस्था।
- बच्चों हेतु निःशुल्क दूध, नाश्ता एवं प्रशिक्षित महिला सहायिकाओं की तैनाती।
- कल्याण अधिकारी (Welfare Officer - धारा 49): 500 या अधिक श्रमिकों वाले प्रत्येक कारखाने में श्रमिकों की समस्याओं के समाधान व कल्याणकारी योजनाओं की देख-रेख हेतु योग्य श्रम कल्याण अधिकारी की अनिवार्य नियुक्ति।
2. संबंधित स्वास्थ्य एवं कार्य-घंटे सुरक्षोपाय:
- सप्ताह में अधिकतम 48 कार्य-घंटे (अतिरिक्त कार्य पर दोगुना वेतन - धारा 59), कार्यस्थल पर शुद्ध शीतल पेयजल (धारा 18) तथा सवेतन वार्षिक अवकाश (धारा 79)।
