पीड़मॉन्ट स्वैम्प (पदमस्थ दलदली) मिट्टी बिहार के केवल पश्चिमी चंपारण जिले के उत्तर-पश्चिमी भाग में सोमेश्वर पहाड़ियों के तराई क्षेत्र में पाई जाती है। यह मिट्टी जैविक पदार्थों से समृद्ध है और हिमालय की तलहटी में अत्यधिक वर्षा व दलदली परिस्थितियों के कारण बनती है। यह मधुबनी, भागलपुर या सीतामढ़ी जिलों में नहीं पाई जाती है।
