This question was officially dropped by BPSC and full marks were awarded to all candidates. The Tropic of Cancer passes through eight Indian states: Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tripura, and Mizoram. Because none of the four options listed (Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha, or Bihar) is among the eight states traversed by the Tropic of Cancer, all options were incorrect.

कर्क रेखा किस राज्य से होकर गुजरती है ?
इस प्रश्न को बीपीएससी (BPSC) द्वारा आधिकारिक तौर पर निरस्त (Drop) कर दिया गया तथा सभी अभ्यर्थियों को पूरे अंक दिए गए। कर्क रेखा भारत के आठ राज्यों (गुजरात, राजस्थान, मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, झारखंड, पश्चिम बंगाल, त्रिपुरा और मिजोरम) से होकर गुजरती है। विकल्पों में दिए गए चारों राज्यों (उत्तर प्रदेश, मेघालय, ओडिशा, बिहार) में से किसी से भी कर्क रेखा नहीं गुजरती, अतः प्रश्न को निरस्त किया गया।
