• 3. Cultural Alienation & Social Fragmentation: Destruction of age-old village social networks, kinship structures, sacred community groves, and indigenous cultural identity.
• 4. Psychological Trauma & Marginalization: Deep psychological stress of uprooting from ancestral soils and social hostility from host communities in resettlement colonies.
• 5. Inadequate Resettlement Infrastructure: Resettlement sites often lack basic civic infrastructure—piped drinking water, primary schools, PHCs, and sanitation.
