Central India represents the largest indigenous tribal demographic concentration in India, distributed across distinct ecological belts:

  • 1. Western Central India (Bhil-Bhilala Belt):
    • Districts: Alirajpur (89%), Jhabua (87%), Barwani, Dhar, and Khargone (MP) extending into southern Rajasthan and Gujarat.

  • 1. पश्चिमी क्षेत्र (भील-भिलाला पट्टी):
