Two Main Functions of State Chief Secretary:
- Principal Advisor to Chief Minister & Cabinet: Acts as secretary to the State Cabinet, prepares agenda, records minutes, and advises on all complex administrative and policy issues.
- Administrative Head & Inter-Departmental Coordinator: Head of the state civil services, coordinates activities across all government departments, and supervises crisis management.

राज्य के मुख्य सचिव के दो प्रमुख कार्य:
- मुख्यमंत्री एवं राज्य मंत्रिमंडल का प्रमुख सलाहकार: कैबिनेट सचिव के रूप में कार्य करना, मंत्रिमंडल की बैठकों की कार्यसूची तैयार करना व नीति निर्माण में प्रशासनिक परामर्श देना।
