भाषाई अल्पसंख्यकों से आप क्या समझते हैं ?
भाषाई अल्पसंख्यक (Linguistic Minority):
- अर्थ: भारत अथवा किसी राज्य विशेष में निवास करने वाले नागरिकों का ऐसा समूह, जिसकी मातृभाषा या बोली उस राज्य की बहुसंख्यक आबादी की भाषा से पृथक व संख्या में कम हो (राज्य-वार निर्धारण)।
- संवैधानिक संरक्षण:
- अनुच्छेद 29 एवं 30: अपनी भाषा के संरक्षण एवं मनपसंद शिक्षण संस्थान स्थापित करने व चलाने का मूल अधिकार।
- अनुच्छेद 350A एवं 350B: प्राथमिक स्तर पर मातृभाषा में शिक्षा तथा भाषाई अल्पसंख्यकों हेतु विशेष आयुक्त।
